PageRelay Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of PageRelay, a browser extension and web service that prepares and sends web pages and files to Kindle and Onyx Boox e-readers. By creating an account or using the extension, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using PageRelay you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. We may update these Terms as described in "Changes to terms" below.

2. Description of service

PageRelay extracts a web page you explicitly select, converts it (or an uploaded file) into a format suitable for e-readers, and delivers it to a Kindle approved-sender email address or an Onyx Boox Push account that you configure. The service includes a Chrome extension and a web dashboard for account, reader, and billing management.

You are solely responsible for the pages, files, and other content you submit to PageRelay for processing and delivery. You represent that you have the right to access and forward that content to the readers you configure. PageRelay processes content only after you take an explicit action, such as clicking "Send this page" or uploading a file.

7. Third-party services

PageRelay delivers content through third-party services, including Amazon Kindle's approved-sender email delivery, Onyx Boox Push, and Stripe for billing. Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms and policies. PageRelay is not responsible for the availability, performance, or policies of third-party services.

8. Disclaimers

PageRelay is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that content extraction, conversion, or delivery will be uninterrupted, accurate, or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PageRelay and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, use, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date on this page. Continued use of PageRelay after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using PageRelay and delete your account at any time from the dashboard. We may suspend or terminate access to the service for violations of these Terms, non-payment, or to protect the service and its users.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the applicable jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
